WNCG student Insoo Hwang received the QTech 2014 best paper award in the Networking and Systems category for research regarding interference cancellation. QTech is Qualcomm's annual, internal technology conference. Dr. Hwang, who works for Qualcomm Research in San Diego in the Office of the Chief Scientist, placed third in the category. Dr. Hwang was advised by Prof. Robert W. Heath, Jr.
