Heath and Students Receive 2013 EURASIP Best Paper Award

WNCG Director Robert Heath and several of his students have received the 2013 EURASIP Best Paper Award from the Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking for their paper 'Relay Architectures for 3GPP LTE-Advanced.' The paper was co-authored by Steven W. Peters, Ali Y. Panah, Kien T. Truong and Robert W. Heath. It appeared in the EURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking in July 2009. The overall aim of the EURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking is to bring together science and applications of wireless communications and networking technologies with emphasis on signal processing techniques and tools. It is directed at both practicing engineers and academic researchers. Dr. Robert W. Heath, Jr. is the director of the Wireless Networking and Communications Group and the Wireless Systems Innovations Lab. His research focuses on MIMO communication, multi-user MIMO, OFDM, signal processing, smart antennas, DSP and multiple-input.
