During Texas Wireless Summit 2014, WNCG students were challenged to by RCR Wireless to share their research in one minute or less. The result is Student Rapidfire.

The Engineering Sciences Building (ENS) was home to UT Austin's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering for nearly 50 years. The birthplace of WNCG, the ENS building was recently demolished to make way for the new Engineering Education and Research Center (EERC)
