The third annual Simons Conference will explore the mathematics of stochastic processes and graphs for large graphs. The four-day conference, which will take place from May 9-12, 2016 at the Blanton Museum of Art on the UT Austin campus, brings together top researchers from various communities to provide a global picture of this broad subject. Each year, the Simons program alternates between an emphasis on either mathematics or network applications. The goal of the conference is to foster research relationships among various communities and to create a fertile ground for up and coming research in the field.

Simons Conference 2016 speakers include: Berkeley’s David Aldous, Los Alamos’ Eli Ben-Naim, Eindhoven’s Remco Van Der Hofstad, Microsoft’s Alexander Holroyd, Brown University’s Richard Kenyon, Microsoft INRIA’s Laurent Massoulie, University of Pennsylvania’s Elchanan Mossel and Michael Steele, UT Austin’s Joe Neeman, NYU’s Joel Spencer, Budapest’s Balazs Szegedy, Cambridge’s Lutz Warnke and Monash University’s Nick Wormald.
